Sports Night is an American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) half hour comedy about a live television sports news show also called Sports Night and the people that make the show. It stars Peter Krause as the show's anchor Casey McCall, Josh Charles as his co-anchor Dan Rydell and Felicity Huffman as the show's executive producer Dana Whitaker. The series focuses on the friendships, pitfalls, and ethical issues the creative talent of the program face while trying to produce a good show under constant network pressure. It was created by Aaron Sorkin and ran for two seasons from 1998 to 2000.
